Originally from South Florida, Sarah Duval is a Junior at American University majoring in the interdisciplinary study of Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government (CLEG), as well as Spanish Studies. At American, Sarah serves as the Director of the American University Student Government Women’s Initiative, President of the Black Pre-professional Society, and a member of the President’s Council on Diversity and Inclusion. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a master’s degree in public policy. Sarah is passionate about writing and performing poetry, her Haitian heritage, and collecting postcards from every city she visits. Sarah is incredibly excited to be a part of the 2020 College Student Congress cohort
