Erik Fronberg is an aspiring civil servant with interest in sustainable development, disaster resilience, and environmental change mitigation. Erik currently interns in Capital Development at the Utah Transit Authority while pursuing degrees in Urban Planning, Political Science, and Environmental Studies at the University of Utah. Before college, Erik served a two-year proselyting mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in South Korea. Erik has engaged with diverse communities both locally and abroad by volunteering with refugees in Salt Lake, consulting with small businesses in Ghana, and advising communities in Puerto Rico during hurricane recovery efforts. After graduation, Erik intends to attend Law School to prepare himself for a career advocating for just and pragmatic public policy. During his free time, Erik enjoys playing Chopin preludes, chatting with friends, and reading literature on religion and philosophy.
