Nadia Valles is a senior at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She is pursuing a major in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. She is originally from Hennessey, Ok. At Oklahoma State, Nadia has been an active member of the Hispanic Student Association, Political Science Club, Sigma Lambda Alpha Sorority, Inc., the Student Government Association, among others. She currently is a Ronald E. McNair scholar and conducts research regarding Latino communities. This year, Nadia earned her university’s Harry S. Truman Institutional Nomination. She aspires to earn a graduate degree in public policy and dedicate her career to immigration policy reform. Nadia is excited and grateful for the opportunity to represent Oklahoma this summer.
