Silas McClung is a junior Politics and American Studies double major with an Interdisciplinary German minor at Sewanee: The University of the South. From Crossville, Tennessee, he is passionate about learning, listening, and using his voice to advocate for equity in his community, support diversity in thought and practice, and call for more empathy in our world. Silas is currently a resident of the Interfaith House and serves as his fraternity’s Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Chair. He has formerly worked as a McCrickard Project Research Fellow, Roberson Project Research Assistant, and Osgood Center Program Associate, which will be invaluable to his opportunity to represent Tennessee, the Volunteer State, in the 2023 College Student Congress.
