Abigail Bergmann, a junior political science major at Bob Jones University, has a passion for leading, growing, and teaching others. As Governor of the South Carolina Student Legislature, she leads students across the state to excellence as they write and present legislation. She’s also involved in many student organizations at her school, serving as the president of the Public Policy Organization, associations liaison for the Student Leadership Council, and a senior member on the Community Service Council. Abigail spends most of her weekends judging speech and debate at local high schools. Her love for speech and debate led her to spend last summer teaching for Capitol Debate at Yale and the University of Washington. During her free time, she enjoys watching mock trial competitions, supporting local political candidates as a campaign manager and volunteering at miracle hill and other local community outreaches.
