Michelle Ostolaza is a Junior at Salve Regina University studying Administration of Justice with a concentration in Cybersecurity and Sociology. Originally from Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Michelle wanted to continue her studies in her home state so that she could be close to her family and loved ones. Michelle is President of the university’s Black Student Union, Public Relations Coordinator for the Multicultural Student Organization, and Senator for the Student Government Association. Alongside those leadership positions, Michelle is an Undergraduate Intern in the Office of Multicultural Programs, assisting first-year students in their transition to the university and an Operations Manager in the Office of Student Engagement, working to enhance the student life experience at Salve. Michelle’s ultimate plans include finding a career in an at-risk community and giving underprivileged youth a voice in our society. Michelle is enthusiastic about being given the privilege to represent her home state in the 2020 College Student Congress.
