Riston Escher is from Byron Center, Michigan. He is a Junior pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy at the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan. Riston is involved with several different organizations on campus. He is the President of his fraternity, Psi Upsilon, as well as a founding member of Beta Alpha Rho, a professional pre-law and public service fraternity. Serving others is an important part of Riston’s identity, and at home he works to serve the people of his community. In 2018, Riston won an election to become Precinct Delegate for his home precinct. He is also an Eagle Scout participating with his troop to help guide boys and young men through scouting, while helping his community through service events.
