Corinne Connor is a third-year student studying Political Science and Psychology at West Virginia University. Corinne is a native of Wheeling, West Virginia, and first developed an interest and passion for politics and policy prior to the 2016 general election. At West Virginia University, Corinne serves on the Judicial Court of the Student Government Association, as the Political Director of the College Republicans, and is a member of the Young America’s Foundation. Additionally, Corinne spends her free time working as an undergraduate legal intern with the West Virginia Innocence Project, a chapter of the National Innocence Project, which seeks to exonerate individuals who were wrongfully convicted and to advocate for criminal justice reform. Corinne has previously interned in the United States Congress and was selected as a Judith Herndon Fellow with the West Virginia Legislature in the spring semester. Corinne is humbled and appreciative of the opportunity to represent her home state of West Virginia in the 2020 College Student Congress.
