Jorgie Hawthorne is a rising senior at the University of Montana studying political science, journalism, and nonprofit administration. In the past, Jorgie has interned in the United States Senate for Majority Leader Schumer, worked for two different nonprofits, and served as a student senator at her university. Originally from Great Falls, Mont., Jorgie hopes to one day begin bridging the gap between politics and the media in order to reunify the American people. In her free time, she enjoys curling up with a good book, exploring Montana’s beauty, and going to concerts.
