Brandolyn A. Thomas is a rising senior Public Policy major at Pomona College in Claremont, California. She is originally from Erwin, Tennessee, a small, rural farm town in the heart of the Appalachia. On campus, Brandolyn is a dedicated member of Pomona College’s Mock Trial team that travels around the US to participate at various competitions. Brandolyn figured out her passion for law during an internship with the Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles, a non-profit legal aid center who represents people with limited access to the legal system. She hopes to attend law school for pro bono work, and after graduating, establish non-profit legal services in areas with little aid exposure. Brandolyn is honored for the opportunity to represent her college’s state of California at the 2023 College Student Congress.
