John “Jay” Kirkley (he/him) is a junior at Rollins College in Orlando, Florida (Go Tars!) studying Biochemistry and Public Policy. He is passionate about equitable and accessible healthcare access with a special focus on LGBTQ+ issues. On campus, he is the President of Rollins College’s Amnesty International Club as well as Student Liaison for Rollin College’s Inclusive Excellence in STEM, a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Project funded by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Jay is grateful and ecstatic for the opportunity to represent Florida this summer at the 2023 College Student Congress.
