Emma Kenny is a junior Political Science and History major concentrating in Legal History at The University of Alabama. Emma is not originally from anywhere as her mother was in the Air Force until she graduated high school in San Antonio, Texas. At Alabama, Emma is a student at the Blackburn Institute, serves as the Director of External Affairs for Vote Everywhere UA, serves as the Camper and Alumni Relations Coordinator for Camp 1831, along with her other extracurriculars she is currently doing funded undergraduate research. Emma previously interned in the Governor of Alabama’s Policy Office and will be interning this summer in Senator Shelbys D.C. Office. Emma is currently applying to a Fulbright program to teach English in the Balkans upon her graduation. She then aspires to attend law school, practice law, and provide counsel for political officials in various policy areas. Emma is extremely grateful for the opportunity to represent the great state of Alabama at the 2022 College Student Congress.
