Lewis Fischer is a junior economics and finance major at the University of Alabama. At Alabama, Lewis is a member of the University Fellows Experience, a community of elite scholars who share a passion to become change agents. He is also a member of the Randall Research Scholars Program, having studied coding languages and conducted undergraduate research with a renowned law professor. Lewis has served on Student Government as a First Year Councilor and Associate Justice, and he dedicates a lot of his time to the Blackburn Institute, a leadership development and civic engagement program focused on improving the state. He has held a Congressional Internship, worked for Regions Bank and Goldman Sachs, and has recently begun graduate-level courses to earn a master’s in quantitative economics. His ultimate goal is to work in wealth or public policy.
