Lily Cloyd is a junior at the University of Delaware studying Public Policy and Political Science. A member of the Honors College, she volunteers her time as an ambassador for Honors as well as for each of her majors. She is a Blue Hen Ambassador and tour guide at the university, and has started a fellowship with the Community Leadership Program and Leadership Delaware, a local non-profit. Lily recently attended the Student Conference on United States Affairs and served as a delegate, working towards a bipartisan solution to combat the global rise of autocracy. She is a member of the Biden Institute Student Advisory Council, and along with organizing and promoting programming, she attends networking events and has had the opportunity to meet several policymakers, most notably Nancy Pelosi. Lily serves as the vice president of Women in Law and Politics at UD, and she hopes to engage her fellow students as well as notable professionals in the events she is planning. Lily also competes in APDA debate tournaments around the country as an executive board member of Delaware Debate Society. In her free time, Lily enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with family and friends. She is incredibly passionate about equity and justice, and plans to dedicate her life to helping others.
