Amelia Osborne is a junior at Tulane University, double majoring in Political Science and Social Policy on a pre-law track. She is originally from Weehawken, New Jersey, where she developed her passion for anti-discrimination policymaking and law. At Tulane, Amelia is a student representative for the LGBTQ+ research collective and is currently putting together an exhibition to raise awareness and promote community integration. She is a member of a coeducational service fraternity, College Democrats, and the National Political Science Honor Society and often spends her time volunteering and canvassing around New Orleans. Amelia has worked on several political campaigns and most recently accepted a job with Grassroots Voter Outreach. After undergrad, her plans include law school and a career in civil rights law and public policy. Beyond the law, Amelia enjoys abstract art, music, and running her university’s juggling club.
