Madison Thornton is a junior at the University of Mississippi majoring in Public Policy Leadership and Biology from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. At the University of Mississippi, Madison is a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College and the Trent Lott Leadership Institute, and she is an Ole Miss Women’s Council Scholar. Madison serves as a member of the Columns Society, Honors Ambassadors Executive Board, Associated Student Body Principal of Health and Wellness, and Ole Miss Big Event Project Leader. She is also a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society, Lambda Sigma Honor Society, and Alpha Omicron Pi Women’s Fraternity. Madison aims to attend medical school to become a physician, and she has a specific interest in health policy. Madison is delighted and honored to represent Mississippi in the 2020 College Student Congress.
