Madison Thornton is a senior at the University of Mississippi majoring in Public Policy Leadership and Biology from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. At the University of Mississippi, Madison is a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College and the Trent Lott Leadership Institute, and she is an Ole Miss Women’s Council Scholar. Madison serves on the Columns Society, Honors Ambassadors Executive Board, Honors College Peer Mentor Group Program, Associated Student Body Chief of Staff, and Big Event Project Leader. She is also a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society, Lambda Sigma Honor Society, and Alpha Omicron Pi Women’s Fraternity. Madison will be attending medical school next year and has a specific interest in health policy. Madison is delighted and honored to represent Mississippi in the 2021 College Student Congress.
